Opinion about the punishment at home
My view about
punishments is not to take them as wrong, should be handled as a measure or
strategy to help establish discipline and good behavior of children at home and
outside it.
Punishments
accompanied by physical aggression tend to make children focus their anger on
their parents and lose affection attributing blame them and not take
responsibility for their mistakes.
The Parents should
not be left dominated by anger, rage or bad temper, because it can be too
exaggerated and can be very critical for the child.
First you have to
explain the importance and benefits of obeying or ignoring, for example define
the time to go to bed, perform the tasks assigned by the teacher.
Natural consequences
let children learn about the consequences of their actions or behaviors, they
feel nothing like the ability to use the experiences and the information to
make future decisions and not repeat mistakes.
Logical
consequences help children to learn from their mistakes because they are the
direct result of the child's behavior.
Conclusion
One important thing
for children is to reward them when they avoid their own punishments or
consequences of their actions.
For parents it is
recommended to define time as the deadline for the consequences and demonstrate
safety before them, so respect and authority is maintained.
